Permit Information

Deer Damage Control Permits are primarily designed to modify deer behavior at times when the deer are actively causing damage to minimize the damage experienced. Important information:

  • Eligibility: Applications should not be submitted until deer are actively causing the damage
  • Shooters: You must provide potential shooter name's and date-of-birth's at time of application. Not all shooters may be approved
  • Allowances: Permits are only valid for a certain number of deer as determined by the person issuing the permit. Permits generally offer more privileges than traditional hunting
  • Reporting: All deer killed under authority of a permit must be reported by noon the day after they are killed
  • Validity: Permits are valid only for certain dates. The dates are determined based on when the damage will typically occur
